Fortis Law holds a lot of webinars to educate both our clients and property agents on property laws, Lasting Power of Attorney, Wills, etc., which are informative and helpful to us. My experience with a property transaction was bad, marked by poor communication. For example, there were no updates about the case. The staff who handled the transaction left, and I was not updated. Questions sent via email went unanswered. They only contact you when they need money to process the transactions. I would never recommend anyone to go back there again, especially first-time property buyers, as they are not helpful. Pay a bit more to use other law firms; at least then, you can sleep easy at night, rather than being abandoned after payment and left to worry alone about how to resolve the problem on your own. I am considering filing a complaint with the Law Society, as they failed to practice due diligence, respond promptly, and act in the client's best interest.
