Had a pleasant brunch by the river. The view was relaxing, and the food was hearty and satisfying. The Dirty Latte and Matcha Latte were both well-made. They occasionally run 1-for-1 brunch promos, which makes it a great deal for a casual meal in a nice setting. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a laid-back spot!

The brunch food is pretty good. Love the miso butter vongole! The Pain Perdu is very pretty and tasty too. Food took a little while to come, so if it’s a crowded day, be prepared to wait. The ambiance is nice, especially if you get the window seats.

First time here at Home Dawn for brunch, and it didn’t disappoint! The café is at Clarke Quay, with nice big windows where you can see the river and enjoy lots of natural light — super cozy with air-conditioning, making it perfect even on a hot day. We tried quite a few dishes and loved every one of them. The Homie’s Brekkie 2.0 was hearty and filling — scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, sausage, maple-glazed pancetta, Brussels sprouts and more, all well-seasoned and nicely plated. The Miso Butter Vongole was my favourite — the clams were huge and fresh, and the miso butter sauce was so tasty! Also loved the Sour Plum Sweet Potato Fries — the plum powder twist was addictive. The Chicken Karaage was crispy and juicy, and the tobiko mayo made it extra special. We finished with a Choco Banana Crepe for dessert — classic but always good. Coffee here is also worth trying — I had their Signature Dirty Latte which was smooth and not too bitter, perfect with brunch. Would definitely come back for the vibe, the food, and the view. Perfect for a chill weekend brunch or catching up with friends. Highly recommend!

Here's the lightly edited review: "I absolutely love the vibes at this place—super cozy and relaxing, perfect for hanging out with family or catching up with friends. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with just the right mix of chill and stylish. The food is delicious and thoughtfully put together. One standout for me is the dark hot chocolate—rich, smooth, and perfectly comforting. I always order it hot, and it's a must-try if you’re into deep chocolatey flavors. For the savory dishes, the menbosha burger really surprised us—it’s crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. We also loved the bulgogi pizza, which has that sweet and savory balance that makes every bite addictive. Overall, this spot has become one of our go-to places. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great drinks, and a relaxing atmosphere."

Home Dawn Cafe is a well-designed spot with a cozy interior and relaxing atmosphere. Neither too noisy nor too quiet for a quick Sunday brunch. The furniture was a little shaky, making it feel less comfortable. The food was average; while it was nicely presented, the flavors were quite standard. It wasn’t bad, but nothing particularly memorable. Prices are on the higher side, which may be due to the location. While that’s understandable, it adds to the expectation that the food would be more impressive. Service was polite, and the setting is enjoyable. Overall, a decent place if you’re nearby, especially for a coffee break. The place seemed understaffed. Might be back 🍑
