Worst nachos in the world, slow, inattentive service, and as a bonus, our waitress passed along the cold she was so obviously suffering from. Don't bother spending $100+ for cold, shitty nachos and fish and chips without any vinegar, all with a side of virus.

Kopi and Spell is already becoming a favorite hangout for US Navy personnel on R&R in Singapore, and for good reason. Great drinks, amazing food, and an ambience that truly sets it apart."

We recently visited this place after being excited about their drink offerings. We went on a Thursday early evening in May and were incredibly disappointed. The drink I ordered was the only good part, even though it was very overpriced. But that’s what you get in Clarke Quay. We are residents of Singapore and had been wanting to try this place for a while. We hadn’t eaten, and the place was fairly empty. I ordered fish and chips, which wasn’t too bad. The batter was spicy though, which was a little weird. My husband ordered nachos, and they were horrific. Not only were they not on tortilla chips, but they were freezing cold—like straight out of the fridge. We asked if they could get us another one that was hot. They brought us back the same one, which was still only lukewarm. Don’t forget, these are very expensive nachos! Not good. To top it all off, our waitress was obviously very sick. She looked like death and was coughing and spluttering everywhere, holding a tissue, and could barely talk as she was so congested. I was quite grossed out, and yep, you guessed it. Two days later, both my husband and I are now sick too, and we rarely get ill. Stay away from this place if you want food. If you want a very fun, overpriced cocktail, go ahead. Just check that the waitress or waiter is not sick first. I am livid and will never ever go back. Just disgusting.

I'm writing this from experience. They were nice and took responsible action to help settle my bill problem. Live music was good. The drink was good too. I didn't try the food there because I kept dancing haha ;)

If you’re looking for a fun and lively atmosphere any day of the week, this is the place for you. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and you will feel that you’re not in the busy city area. I've been here a few times; the food and cocktails are really amazing, and the service is top-notch as well. Kudos to Sonny and his team!

A hidden gem in Clarke Quay!
Kopi & Spells Resto Bar is a must-visit spot if you’re around Clarke Quay. The place stands out with its cozy, Balinese-inspired ambiance, setting the perfect mood for a chill night out. The Filipino band was top-notch—great entertainers who kept the energy high all night. Cocktails were delicious and well-crafted. Plus, the owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for great music, good vibes, and excellent drinks!
