Had an enjoyable lunch here today! Ordered the Chicken on Fire (grilled chicken, 玫瑰露, and fire) which was spectacular and fun to watch, albeit a tad dry. The almond dried prawn chilli was thoughtfully served separately as we have a kiddo with us. Crispy pumpkin with chicken floss is very good, super crispy with ultra umami. We love the stewed white pepper prawn with vermicelli in claypot too, especially the fresh prawns which are flash fried and easy to deshell. Mango sago with popping pearls is creamy and refreshing. Service was very attentive; we especially appreciated the constant refills of water. Recommended!

I was really attracted by an ad pushed to me through social media and decided to check it out for a weekday dinner.
The restaurant is housed on the second floor of a heritage building. The first floor is a pub with a live band singing Mandopop.
My first impression was that it was very loud, as the music echoed through the central air well, making a decent conversation seem difficult.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t fare better. The prawns were not fresh, and the Angus beef tenderloin cubes were undercooked and chewy. The dumplings in chili oil were poorly steamed, resulting in uneven doneness.
Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience, though the advertisement was appealing.

So we found this on Google reviews and decided to book a table for dinner. Oh my goodness! We had two set menus, a couple of main dishes (beef and chicken), and garlic Chinese spinach between the three of us. It was all incredibly delicious and beautifully balanced in flavour and spicing. We enjoyed all of it. It was difficult to find, as we didn’t realise it was inside The Riverhouse on the 2nd floor. Upstairs is interesting, as there’s a big banquet feel to the place with high ceilings. We could hear the 'live' music from Pulse downstairs, and we enjoyed how it added to the ambience. Highly recommended but it is expensive. Service was excellent too.

Had a great dining experience! Both food and service were amazing. Highlights were the **Crispy** Pumpkin with Chicken Floss and the Stewed White Pepper Prawn with Vermicelli in Claypot. Highly recommend Mìmì for an exquisite Chinese dining experience in Singapore!

We were drawn in just by walking past this charming, 154-year-old building. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, perfect for group dining!
We tried the Chicken on Fire, where the server flambées the chicken with rose wine tableside, resulting in a dish with a deliciously charred skin and tender meat.
The White Pepper Vermicelli with Prawns featured vermicelli soaked in a flavorful broth with prawns, reminiscent of a Thai shrimp vermicelli pot.
The Camphor Duck, marinated with tea and served in egg crepes, was incredibly tender with crispy skin!

The food was good, and the staff was friendly. The fried pumpkin with chicken floss was really yummy, the prawns were plump, and I really enjoyed the beef & pork ribs. I didn't really like the dessert. It was just peanut tangyuan. But I'll be back!

The food is quite mediocre given its price point.
The popcorn “la zi ji” was nothing special, and the popcorn was quite stale. All the dishes tasted pretty average, which was disappointing given the price point. There are plenty of better Chinese restaurants out there.
The ambiance is dark and moody, although it does not have a comfortable setting in my opinion, feeling like an unfinished restaurant. There is loud music coming from the entertainment venue on Level 1.
Would not recommend.

The location was quite hidden. We ordered five dishes: chicken on fire, beef tenderloin, abalone, cod fish and vegetables. The beef and chicken were nice. Recommended to give it a try. ❤️ The service was good as well. Overall, it was a nice dinner with my family. 🥰

Magnificent experience here. I enjoyed the quality of the food as well as the service. Each dish had its distinctive flair, and you can tell the chef is very skilled. Before the peak hour crowd came in, we also had 4 waiters attending to our table at one point! Keep up the good work, Mimi.
