We are looking for a Guest Relations Manager (Assistant Manager) to lead our service team in delivering memorable, seamless, and heartfelt guest experiences. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives on floor presence, relationship-building, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a warm and visible presence on the floor, welcoming guests and ensuring every table is well cared for.
  • Lead by example in upholding service standards, tone, and the culture of Ember.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues with professionalism, empathy, and care.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the food and wine menu to assist guests and support staff confidently.
  • Work with the General Manager and Restaurant Manager to train, guide, and motivate the service team.
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including pre-shift briefings, floor assignments, and team coordination.
  • Build relationships with regular guests and VIPs, tracking preferences and anticipating needs.
  • Support reservations, private dining bookings, and large party coordination.
  • Monitor service flow, pacing, and ambiance throughout service.
  • Assist in reporting, scheduling, and day-to-day administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or assistant manager experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • A natural host — warm, professional, and attentive.
  • Strong floor presence and attention to detail in guest interactions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with handling guest feedback and creating solutions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with POS and reservation systems.
  • A team player who can coach, uplift, and lead others.
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating meaningful guest connections.
