Cuba Libre, one of Singapore’s most iconic Latin American dining and nightlife destinations, is looking for a Mexican Chef who can bring bold flavors, creativity, and cultural authenticity to the table. If tacos, enchiladas, and mole run through your veins—and you know how to make them unforgettable—we want to meet you.

🌮 Role Overview

As our Mexican Chef, you will be responsible for leading the Mexican culinary offering at Cuba Libre. From crafting authentic street-style fare to creating modern takes on traditional dishes, you’ll play a key role in elevating the food experience and defining our Latin American identity.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, standardize, and execute an authentic Mexican menu (à la carte and sharing platters)
  • Prepare dishes such as tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas, burritos, salsas, guacamole, mole, etc. using traditional methods and ingredients
  • Innovate seasonal specials and tasting menus that excite our audience and reflect culinary trends
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes
  • Oversee kitchen operations related to Mexican cuisine, including food prep, inventory management, and hygiene standards
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff in Mexican food preparation
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B Director to integrate Mexican offerings into the larger Latin American concept
  • Maintain compliance with food safety standards and kitchen hygiene protocols

🎯Requirements

  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Mexican cuisine (preferably in high-volume restaurants or international F&B setups)
  • Proven expertise in traditional and modern Mexican cooking techniques
  • Strong knowledge of Latin American ingredients, spices, and flavor profiles
  • Passion for authenticity, creativity, and visual presentation
  • Basic proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Experience working in fast-paced kitchen environments
