We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who is passionate about service excellence, operational efficiency, and team leadership. This is a hands-on role that requires both strategic oversight and strong floor presence, ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of hospitality.
- Maintain a visible presence on the floor, engaging with guests and supporting the team during peak periods.
- Oversee staff scheduling, daily briefings, and shift management to ensure efficiency and teamwork.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain communication, service timing, and product quality.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback and complaints, resolving issues effectively.
- Set, monitor, and review KPIs for the outlet to drive sales, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, control operational costs, and implement measures to reduce waste.
- Maintain compliance with government health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Hire, train, and develop front-of-house staff, fostering a motivated, high-performing team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Support marketing efforts through community engagement, events, and brand promotion.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports on sales, expenses, and operational performance.
- Uphold and implement company policies, service standards, and operational protocols.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of managerial experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for food, wine, and genuine hospitality.
- Computer literate with experience in POS and reservation systems.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
