Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Audit Firm
• Position Title: Tax Associate
• Working Location: Clarke Quay
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday - Friday, 9am-6.15pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Variable Bonus + AWS
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Handle corporate, personal income, and GST tax compliance.
• Provide detailed advisory services to clients.
• Prepare, review, and e-file income tax returns for clients.
• Respond to IRAS queries and draft objection letters for disputed assessments.
• Advise on tax implications of business transactions including corporate and personal income tax, and GST.
• Support tax due-diligence and advise on projects like share swaps and business restructurings.
• Assist with GST MES renewal schemes and secure tax rulings or clarifications from IRAS.
• Other tasks as directed by Manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• SCTP accreditation, such as Accredited Tax Practitioner (ATP) in Income Tax, preferred.
• Possess 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory, preferably in a public accounting or tax consulting environment.
• Have a thorough knowledge of Singapore tax regulations, including corporate, personal income tax, GST, and general tax compliance.
