Trade Operations Executive

Galaxy Energy and Resources is a dynamic and fast-growing commodity merchant headquartered in Singapore with a network of offices around Asia Pacific. With expanding business activities, we are looking for:

Job Position: Trade Operations Executive
Location: Singapore (Clarke Quay area)
Salary Range: S$3,000 to S$5,000 (depending on relevant experiences)

Responsibilities:

• Handling end-to-end trade operations
• Preparation of full set shipping documentations (contract vetting, letter of credit application preparation, bill of lading instructions, shipping document preparation, credit/debit notes, LOI and others)
• Handling of contracts related activities
• Handling of L/C related activities (Import & Export)
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders for transaction information, auditing, internal control and risk management.

Requirements:

• University (Degree) or diploma holder
• Strong understanding of commodity markets and trading practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highattention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, to be a good team player
• Experience with the commodity trading systems and software.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements
• Candidates with experience in dry bulk commodity operation and trading are preferred
