Job Title: Weightlifting Specialist (Full-Time)

Location: Mobilus Clarke Quay

Start Date: 1st Sept 2025

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience + potential for bonuses/PT commission

Overview:

Mobilus is seeking a passionate and technically skilled Weightlifting Specialist to lead and develop our Olympic lifting program. You’ll work closely with our coaching team to enhance members’ technique, strength, and confidence in the snatch and clean & jerk. Ideal for a coach who thrives in a performance-driven CrossFit environment and wants to mentor both recreational lifters and competitive athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and coach weekly weightlifting sessions and cycles for all levels
• Conduct group classes / PT coaching
• Offer technical feedback and video analysis for members
• Assist in refining CrossFit classes that include Olympic lifts
• Host workshops, assessments, and specialty clinics
• Support in competition prep for athletes (CrossFit or WL comps)
• Participate in community events and contribute to gym culture

Qualifications:

• Minimally accredited with a CPT
• CrossFit L1 preferred
• Strong personal weightlifting background (competitive experience a plus)
• Experience coaching and program design for Olympic Weightlifting
• Excellent communication and teaching skills
• Bonus: Ability to coach general S&C or CrossFit classes
