My group of 3 and I came down for the 1-for-1 brunch after seeing a few promotional videos on IG. One of the criteria was having at least one diner whose name has an "Sss" pronunciation, or contains the letter "S" (as stated in their IG caption). However, a particular female server/cashier was rather rude. Initially, she refused to let us enjoy the promotion because my name didn't contain the letter "S" despite having an "Sss" pronunciation. We had to screenshot the IG caption and explain it to her; ultimately, she unhappily gave us the discount. This was just one instance of her poor service. At the start of the brunch, I took a physical menu from the table just outside the cafe. She immediately grabbed it from my hands with a stern expression, stating there was already one on the table. Yet, there was no menu on the table, nor even a QR code. It was five minutes later before she finally presented us with one. Don't get me wrong, it was a good deal, and I have to give special mention to the Big Breakfast plate. I honestly think it's super worth it, especially with the view from the second floor. However, your server's attitude needs to be addressed. I don't think I'll be coming back again.

Having heard of this place, my partner and I decided to visit. If this is what home is, I won't be coming back. The place was surely understaffed on a Sunday lunchtime. Tables were not cleared and/or kept clean. The way the staff cleared the plates was as loud as the other customers talking in the cafe. But that's okay, as that was not the worst of the entire experience. We ordered hot chocolate and hot matcha latte. But what was served was not even hot. We could have and should have asked for a new cup, but the lack of effort from them at the get-go just told us there was no need to. The mains were mediocre. Nothing fancy. The prawn burger was normal. We also ordered the salmon Benedict. The eggs were runny indeed, as they flowed out of the small plate that was served. Perhaps it's just me, but I'm sure they could have served it on a slightly bigger plate. And if you thought that was bad, hear this out. The table/sofa we sat on was not clean, to say the least. Some food crumbs or pieces were on the table and sofa. I used a tissue to wipe the table, and there was some dust or dirt on it. Overall, I would have much rather continued my intermittent fasting than eaten at this place. Lastly, don't listen to or believe the social media posts about all these "must-try" cafes. It's been a disappointing experience so far. More misses and barely any hits.

Went two days ago. I ordered truffle carbonara udon, but it ended up being the thin version, not the Sanuki udon advertised on Instagram. Disappointed. Wasted my trip there. Furthermore, when the food came, it was cold, like it had been left out for a while before it was served to us. Bad experience. Would not go back again. Small portion for a hefty price tag of $30.

The staff here is very friendly, and the food is delicious. The coffee is also nice, and the atmosphere is great. I’ll definitely be coming back, as the prices are reasonable.

Here's the edited review: A quiet cafe at Clarke Quay during the daytime. Good for 1-for-1 brunch offers with a small group or just a pair. Take note that it is located up a flight of stairs, adorned with photos of live band performers. See my video of the photo array. Food-wise, the brunch options are varied enough, though there's not much for vegetarians, and even less for vegans. If you're super hungry for a filling brunch, go with Home's brekkie. The salmon benedict and bacon mushroom benedict were both average in taste as well as portion, probably due to the 1-for-1 offer. Service is fast and polite. However, it would have been more pleasant to see a smile than a serious expression.

Stumbled upon this café on IG and decided to invite my friends for a brunch date, and was totally blown away by the gorgeous riverside view and the delicious food! Homie’s Brekkie is a must-try classic American breakfast—packed with bacon, avocado, mushrooms, fluffy scrambled eggs, sourdough, and sausage. Super satisfying and perfect to kick off a weekend morning! Menbosha Burger features crispy shrimp patties bursting with juice, layered with crunchy apple slices and cheese sauce—sweet, savory, and seriously addictive for any burger lover. Acai Bowl is a refreshing mix of blueberries, strawberries, banana, nuts, and a chocolate-yogurt slush base. It's light, rich in texture, and perfect for a guilt-free treat. One visit isn’t enough — this spot’s officially on my repeat list!

A true hidden gem in Clarke Quay! We visited for brunch on a Tuesday and really loved the food there. I especially liked the karaage chicken and truffle carbonara! Give it a try. They have live music at night too!

The food was great, with wonderful vibes. Everything was very nicely done. The 1-for-1 deal was super worth it. The beer-battered fish and chips were made with real fish, and were so crispy and fresh. The truffle carbonara and abalone risotto both offered unique and good flavor combinations. The 'Home Brekkie' was a regular breakfast set. Without the 1-for-1 deal, it is a little on the pricey side. It offered a nice setting for chilling and talking, with comfortable seating and few people during lunch.

Chill brunch spot at Clarke Quay with gorgeous river views! Must-tries: Homie’s Brekkie 2.0 — the thick maple bacon is a game-changer! Its perfectly runny eggs, crispy sprouts, and hearty sausages make it the ultimate comfort food. Also love their Signature Dirty Latte — rich, creamy, and highly recommended!

Visited Home Dawn on a Saturday afternoon at around 1:30 PM, and it was rather crowded! It's best to make reservations if you want to reduce your waiting time. We got: * Homie's Brekkie * Salmon Namjim Croissant 🌟 * Truffle Fries 🌟 * Yangnyeom Chicken * Iced Spanish Latte * Iced Coconut Latte 🌟 While the Homie's Brekkie is a classic cafe big breakfast that won't go wrong, I enjoyed the Salmon Namjim Croissant more! It's a more unique brunch item with generous and thick chunks of salmon topped with shallots and Thai Namjim dressing, giving it a refreshing and slightly tangy taste. While the spicy sweet and sour sauce was tasty, we felt that the batter-to-meat ratio for Yangnyeom Chicken could be further improved. Truffle Fries, on the other hand, were 10/10. The portion and taste were great. Get their Iced Coconut Latte if you are craving something less sweet or are in the mood for a unique caffeine fix. I liked this drink a lot! This cafe is located along Clarke Quay, and I love the homely, cozy vibes. It's made even better now with their 1-for-1 brunch promo in June! Applicable daily until 3 PM (except PH Eve, PH, special occasions). The promo applies to your entire table as long as your name starts with J, U, N, or E. Time to drag all your friends and get yourself a great deal this month!
