Lovely experience! The tomato soup is incredibly “gao” and flavourful — even towards the end of the meal, the flavour was still there! They even have free-flow ice cream and dessert😝. Great service, totally recommend!!

XiaoYanZi (formerly named UPIN Hot Pot) is under the same boss.
Open every day from 11am until 6am (over 12 hours of operation). Best for night owls.
I also saw many families with young children and elderly folks enjoying their family time here. It was quite a delightful meal.
You can only have 2 different soups per pot.
Fresh ingredients!
Free ice cream (mango and original flavour, or a mix of both). There are 4 more free-flow desserts too, except that I don't like the matcha pudding.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for food. The tomato soup is very tangy and very delicious. The Australian Marbled beef has a buttery taste and a good chew. Would recommend this place to others who enjoy a tomato and sour profile in general 💯

Dropped by yesterday and had a great experience. The service was excellent — staff were friendly and went the extra mile to accommodate our requests. The food was fresh and delicious, and the portions were generous and well worth the price. Will definitely be back!

My feedback is regarding Haidilao, which is the most popular in Singapore.
The tomato soup base is more flavourful. The pig stomach soup has more ingredients like ginkgo, and the stomach was thick and fresh.
Kitchen hygiene probably needs to be improved because I found a live fly in my shrimp ball dish, which was still alive when I touched it.
The variety of free side dishes was lacking; only watermelon and honeydew were available. There were no side dishes such as porridge, pickled vegetables, etc.
A single-person soup base option is not available, as they don't serve water as a base, and customers are forced to purchase two soup bases.
Overall, ingredients are quite fresh.
Service was lacking at times, as they didn't refill my ice water, and one of my dishes also came about 15 minutes after we ordered.
Would I visit again? Probably not...

First time trying this place, the tomato soup is tangy and tasty. Prawn paste is fresh and bouncy. The pork tribe soup is delicious too. Service is attentive and friendly. Will be back again.

Enjoyed the hotpot broth, especially the tomato, which was tasty and authentic! The ingredients were fresh, and servings were adequate. Enjoyed the condiments too. The only downside was the ventilation in the shop towards the end, as it got a bit warm. Service was great and friendly, and a special shout-out to Queenie who assisted with changing my booking seamlessly.

I absolutely loved my experience at Xiaoyanzi Tomato Hotpot. The tomato broth was incredible—rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of tangy. The freshness of the tomatoes truly came through, and it made everything I cooked in it taste even better.
All the ingredients were exceptionally fresh, especially the beef and veggies. I also really liked their sauce bar—lots of good options to mix your own dip. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the whole atmosphere of the place was warm and welcoming. It’s perfect for a cozy meal, whether you’re with friends or just want something comforting on your own.
If you love tomato-based soups or hotpot in general, this place is definitely worth checking out. I’ll be coming back certainly!
