The plump lady cashier was very rude. Her face was very unwelcoming. Is Barcook Bakery so lacking in choices that they cannot get better service staff to tend the front end of the shop for a better reputation?

Weirdly, bakery items cannot be served on plates despite dining in; instead, they were served in plastic bags. Drinks and baked goods were expensive, with a less-than-mediocre taste. Staff communication was not good either.

This is where you can get good traditional coffee and some tasty pastries. However, the lady who makes the coffee is always sullen and curt. The sitting area could be a bit cleaner. It's good for takeaway coffee and snacks for your tea breaks.

A $2.40 iced coffee in a very small paper cup for takeaway? Please review your product offerings.

I got cheated by the lady cashier on March 28, 2023, at 6:15 PM. I ordered 4 breads and paid a total of $9.10, but only received 3 in the small plastic bag when I reached home. One spicy chicken bread was missing.

The croissant I bought tasted great at a reasonable price. I was warmly greeted by the amazing crew when I approached the bakery. I had no intention to buy, but the appearance of the bread as well as the polite crew prompted me to try. 👍🏼 …

Surprised and happy to see they offer vegan bread at a reasonable price in this outlet. Unfortunately, I just had my vegan bread somewhere. Will definitely try it out next time if I'm here.

Nice variety of buns and croissants. Tried both the cheese croissant and chicken curry bun, and they were delicious. Will definitely go back and try other stuff.

I took photos at 9:45 AM, but when I went back to buy pastries at 11:45 AM, almost everything was sold out! The lines are long, but it's worth lining up for their pastries. The place is also very airy and clean. Many bakers were busy baking in the open kitchen, and it was nice to see how they transformed the plain dough into something so delicious.

My personal favorite of their raisin cream bun. It also seems to be a favorite for many others, as it's the most popular bun in the store. I only get this bun from Barcook as I haven’t found any other buns that are so soft, and the cream cheese and raisin filling has just the right balance – not too heavy but satisfying. 😋

I just went to get a cup of tea and have a seat. The teh c was decent, and the shop was quite empty on Thursday at 11 AM. Overall, it's a chill place for a drink and snacks like buns. Located on the first floor near the mall entrance, it's convenient to reach. However, not that many seats are available, with about 10 tables total.

Nice coffee and tea. Especially after a hearty lunch around the area. More comfortable than sitting in a crowded kopitiam like Yakun on a small wooden stool.

My weekly go-to for a simple, comforting breakfast. Their bakes are really nice. Coffee is legit, too. Simple pleasures. :)

Breads from Barcook are, to me, one of the best, if not *the* best, among common bread outlets in Singapore. It's good to be able to dine in at the Central outlet, coupled with a cup of coffee.
