Very disappointing meal – don't waste your money here when there are so many better places to eat at the Quay. My husband ordered the lamb steak, which looked lovely when it arrived, but once he cut into it, it was like old mutton: chewy and very gristly. We tried to get the attention of the waiters but to no avail. (Having now read some of the reviews on here, they obviously knew we were going to complain.) When we finally got a waiter to come to us, they said they would tell the chef... and then wanted to charge us for the full meal! We said no way, and had to haggle to get a reduction off the bill! 😡 This is not good customer service! Anywhere else would have taken it off the bill. We will not be eating here again, and I recommend you don't either.

Normally I would not **throw** someone under the bus when something is bad. But this is ridiculous. The salad was old, a tomato in it was rotten. Tzatziki was bland and had no taste, the **shawarma** wrap had no taste at all and the lettuce in **it** was old. And even the fries next to it **were** very bad.
This cook should find a new career.

It was a very normal experience eating a plate of rice, hummus, potatoes, and tabbouleh. The chef needs more work to adjust the flavour.

I visited the Grand Konak on the 6th of March with my sister at Clarke Quay around 5:30 pm. We ordered Muhammara and spinach Fatayer. The Fatayer was served on lettuce that was completely spoilt and not fresh.
When I requested that the plate be shown to the chef, the response I got was very arrogant and rude. “It’s only for garnish, and the customer need not eat it.” There were carrot slices as well for garnish, which were also dry and not fresh.
So I went to speak to the manager, Mr. Amit, and the chef directly. The manager, a kind gentleman, started to question the chef for his mistake. The chef kept arguing he hadn’t done anything wrong. I was extremely disappointed, and he was very disrespectful. I was totally upset with the service today.
However, Lin, who served us, was very kind, and so was the manager, Mr. Amit, who argued on my behalf. They canceled the Fatayer from our cheque. But still, a word of caution about the chef: Be careful when you order to ensure your food is fresh.
Thank you, Amit and Lin, for your kindness and support.

Thank you Sir Brit Panes and team for the fantastic service and great food!
The mezza platter was savoury, the mixed grill platter was super satisfying, and the Turkish pizza was a fantastic recommendation! And the kunafa was such a great blend of cheese and sugar!

A Vegetarian’s Delight at Grand Konak – A Flavorful Journey!
As a vegetarian, finding a place that offers both variety and authentic flavors can be challenging, but Grand Konak completely exceeded my expectations. From the very first bite, I was captivated by the freshness and boldness of their vegetarian dishes.
The Meze Platter was a delightful assortment of flavors: creamy hummus, tangy baba ganoush, and crispy falafel. Each bite was an explosion of taste, showcasing the essence of Turkish cuisine. The Grilled Vegetable Kebab was nothing short of perfection – smoky, tender, and packed with flavor.
And let’s not forget the Lentil Soup – rich, hearty, and full of flavor, it was the perfect starter. For dessert, the Baklava was a sweet, flaky masterpiece, balancing the right amount of sweetness with the crunch of pistachios.
The atmosphere at Grand Konak was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that all dietary preferences were met. It’s truly a haven for vegetarians who want to indulge in Turkish flavors without compromising on taste or authenticity.

The view here is absolutely stunning—one of the best views by the river, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal or special occasion. The food is of reasonably good quality, though it's on the pricier side. However, this is quite typical for Singapore, so it’s understandable that affordability isn’t the focus here. While the portion sizes are a bit small, the attentive and friendly staff make up for it with their excellent service. They are quick to serve and ensure a pleasant dining experience. Overall, this place is worth a visit for the breathtaking views and quality service, especially if you’re looking for something memorable.

A Hidden Gem At Clarke Quay!
We absolutely love dining at **Grand Konak Restaurant**. The food is consistently delicious — rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Turkish charm. The ambience is equally inviting, making every meal feel like a special experience, whether it’s a casual dinner or a night out with friends.
What truly sets Grand Konak apart, though, is the incredible service. **Manager Lucky** is a gem — he always recommends the perfect dishes, and his warm, attentive approach never fails to make us feel welcome. In a city where good customer service can sometimes be hard to come by, Lucky and the entire team go above and beyond every time.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food, relaxing vibes, and genuinely thoughtful hospitality in Singapore. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Love the setting right by the quay.
The wait time is too long, but that’s understandable considering how busy the area is. The food is good, the portions are very generous, and the presentation makes the food even more attractive. The service is on point. Very prompt.
The mint drink is absolutely brilliant, and the eggplant is amazingly good.
Yes, we highly recommend this place.
