I have visited Kew Organics a couple of times. Given that my skin is very sensitive and dry, I rarely trust any arbitrary products on it. After visiting them a few times, I was just starting to build trust in their products and expertise. However, my last experience with them has been absolutely ridiculous. I went in for a regular appointment where they inspected my skin and recommended a treatment to me. Since it wasn’t anything new, I trusted their judgment and went with it. I had a single breakout on my skin when I went in, but once I was back home, I found the breakout had suddenly grown into a huge brown spot. I went back to check with them, and they gave me a soothing gel, asked me not to use any acid-based product, and comforted me by saying that it would disappear in a day or two. After just one day, it became even worse with excessive dryness. I visited them again, and this time they gave me a combination of three products to moisturise and soothe the inflammation. I was so worried and hesitant, but I still continued following their treatment for the next 4 days, by which time it should have healed according to the manager. However, the left side of my face turned completely red, and matters became even worse. I finally consulted a dermatologist and realised that I had developed Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation because of the harsh products they might have used. As soon as I stopped using their products and switched to what my dermatologist recommended, it has started to improve. However, instead of improving my skin, their recommendations, their treatment, and their products have pushed my skin (ON ONE SIDE OF THE FACE) back by a few months. The frustration, stress, and anxiety of dealing with it rests solely with me for the next few months until it’s restored to the normal state that existed before I went in for the treatment. I had mentioned this to the manager, but I wish to document it here too. They have lost a loyal client. I would personally not recommend or visit them ever again.
