Feels like we were misrepresented. For anyone looking to use the Entertainer's 1-for-1 half-waffle offer, you have to buy a drink for $7.50. We didn't save anything at all.
Ice cream was so-so. We've had better for such pricing. The caramel latte was like drinking pure milk. Our total for 1 waffle, 2 ice creams, and a drink was $21.50. We're definitely able to have better elsewhere. Service was subpar and slow as well. We will not visit again.

As someone who is willing to splurge on good ice cream from Venchi, I must warn you that the ice cream from Overscoop is of really poor quality. Even Udders is way, way better.
Overscoop is probably the only ice cream shop I know that doesn't let you try the different flavours, likely because people would be turned off by the poor quality if they did try.
If you really crave ice cream in this area, just go across the river and get something from 7-Eleven.

Overscoop, more like overpriced. Imagine paying $5.50-$7.50 for a scoop of ice cream and a waffle for $7, and still wanting to charge $0.80 for maple syrup. The super thin layer of chocolate sauce around the plate simply wasn't it. Also, tasting of ice cream isn't allowed here. They have a funny gimmick of allowing you to try another flavor (a really tiny scoop) that's added to your ice cream. But anyway, I didn't think it tasted good, so I probably won't be back.

Visited on February 17, 2025, at 23:00 SGT, and had to wait for 10 minutes because the staff was in the toilet. The shop was UNATTENDED. After the staff returned, I was informed that they only serve ice cream. NO WAFFLES WERE AVAILABLE. Super disappointed.

I bought two flavours that tasted average. The service was fast and friendly. However, the price was quite expensive.

Overpriced ice cream. Everything was really sweet, and service was pretty bad. They gave us one wrong flavor and overcharged us. We were charged SGD26.60 for two double scoops when it should have been only 9.50 each. We didn't request a receipt and only saw the credit card charge when we got home. Extremely pricey, very subpar ice cream...

We arrived at 9:30 PM on a Friday night. A staff member took a 10-15 minute toilet break shortly after we entered. He returned only to tell us he wasn't serving waffles or food, despite it being clear that the customers right before us had just received their waffles and the waffle machine was still on and lit up. This clearly indicated he simply refused to serve food on a busy night. They either need to address their manpower issue (having only one staff member who leaves the shop unattended, only for customers to be told food is unavailable) or improve staff discipline, as this is never the case at their other stores.

Lava cake without lava? Is it a joke? Also, only premium and signature ice cream options are available, requiring a top-up of $1 and $2 per scoop, respectively. Overpriced, with low-quality ice cream.

The ice cream was a letdown, not as great as it looked. The waffle wasn’t impressive either. We ordered three scoops and got a free “small” scoop, but it was so tiny it looked smaller than a tea scoop. Honestly, we'd rather not have received it at all. Overall, quite disappointing.
Splurge: $47

Was at the cafe on Saturday around 4-5 p.m. during the pet fair. Noticed the poor Over Scoop staff was working alone, a one-man show. The queue outside and into the cafe was so long, more than 20 and not getting fewer over the two hours while we were there due to the hot weather. This poor guy had to take orders, make waffles, scoop ice cream, make coffee, and clear plates. He was so stressed out. But I wish to compliment his attitude, as he was still very steadily doing his work with stride. Cool man! Boss should give him a fat bonus. Employees like this are gems, hard to come by. But... he was clearly overworked.

Visited the CQ outlet with friendly and fantastic service, despite being the only person working and serving a group of seniors! Kudos to bringing the SG spirit.

We used Entertainer 1-1. The staff didn't ask us to buy drinks.
Quite tasty as well. I don't know why people gave such bad reviews.

Love their After Eight mint ice cream. Even better, it's pet-friendly! 🥰🥰

Very good ice cream, with multiple tasty flavours. You pay for 2 scoops and you get a bonus tiny scoop of a 3rd flavour.
