Came for lunch on a weekday. They offer weekday lunch set specials. The place was intimately lit as we were the only guests during our visit. Outdoor seating is available with a view of the Singapore River. The location was right at the pedestrian entrance. Food was disappointing as the portion was pretty tiny. Rice served was burnt. I guess they probably do dinner and drinks better.

Nice location right next to the river. Service was friendly and attentive, but not fully familiar with the menu. The food, however, was a let-down in terms of quality and taste. I had the Ramen, and the noodles were stuck together in a lump, as was the seaweed, which I found to be rather poorly cooked. My recommendation is to just enjoy a drink during happy hour.

The vibe and service were great, but I thought the food was okay. It was nothing particularly fancy.

Must try: Kapanchi Kama (grilled fish collar), shishito pepper and meatball, umami sweet corn
Not bad: Nankotsu (chicken cartilage)
Just ok: yakitori tiger prawn, yakitori beef Sando, yakitori pork belly, and ramen
I quite like the vibe here. It's very chill, and the place is spacious. The overall food quality is also not bad, but the price is a bit on the high end. But if you order the right food, it's definitely worth it.
The grilled fish collar is really something: juicy and not oily, with rich flavour but not fatty. Thumbs up.
The shishito pepper and meatball (ordered separately) is really like the Chinese stuffed bell pepper stew, but less oily because the pepper skin is very thin and absorbs less oil.
The umami sweet corn has a milky flavour, which I think can make a calf really happy when eating it. Hence, I would like to call it 'Happy Calf Corn'.
The oyster was not big but very fresh.
The rest are not worth ordering, but if you want to try, it's still okay.

Amazing food and ambience. The happy hour was worth it as well! Will come again.

Excellent restaurant by the river on Clarke Quay. Food was all delicious. We particularly enjoyed the grilled squid and Unagi Avocado Maki. Nice location with covered seating by the river. Beer at 2 for $20 during happy hour is cheap for Clarke Quay, although expensive for other areas.

A friend of mine worked here for 5-6 years in the past, at an izakaya. He always mentioned how good the food was and always wanted to jio me here. Today, I finally had a chance to try it.
We left with satisfied stomachs and happy hearts. All thanks to Lewis, who provided us with excellent service. He has a very good understanding of Japanese cuisine. I can say he is the best here. 🫵👍

Good service and excellent sushi. It's riverside, so you can enjoy.

First off, the seafood platter was great. Oysters were plump and fresh. Spicy tuna maki was delicious. Duck fat chips were great, but eat them while hot or they'll turn soggy. Cold truffle oil udon was good, but needed a little more salt to lift the flavor. Kimchi buta fried rice was good, but the amount of buta in it was way too little. Karaage was great too.
However, 3/5 of the yakitori platter was overcooked. The beef in the beef sando was overcooked; my jaw wasn't having it. The pork belly and grilled prawn were severely overcooked as well, making them dry and chewy. Corn was fab, and the kurobuta burger tasted like a double cheeseburger.
Music was a little loud in the restaurant, but we were still able to have a decent conversation.
Not bad, but the yakitori pulled down the overall score.

I heard about this restaurant from a friend. Food is ok, but the service from Lewis is exceptional. He was knowledgeable about the menu and fulfilled our every request with lightning-fast speed. He is truly the best! 👍

The cold udon is a good blend of Western and Japanese cuisine. Smooth, chewy, and tasty, it's good for hot Singapore weather. The wagyu roll is great.

I’ll definitely come back! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the dining experience was both affordable and enjoyable. The sushi was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients, and the portion size was just right—not too much, not too little. It’s the perfect spot for a tasty meal without breaking the bank. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Thank you so much to Ma'am Diane and Ma'am, and especially to the Chef, for accommodating us, especially with our food allergies. The steak was well seasoned and soft, as were the other dishes. Thank you and more power!

Decided to give this sushi restaurant a try — and wow, it went beyond my expectations. I loved the vibe, the service, and especially the food. The truffle cold udon was definitely the highlight — I ordered it after seeing some reviews, and it did not disappoint.
What made it even better was the DJ playing awesome 90s music during my visit. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Great place to chill and hang out with friends. Will definitely come by again!
