I really like Zouk; however, the bouncers had serious attitude issues. Not every bouncer, but specifically the older one who's short and has a tiny ponytail. He was always screaming and shouting aggressively at people who have done nothing wrong instead of speaking nicely. This really throws the mood off and ruins the night. He imitated me rudely when I was speaking to my friend, not to him. How absurd!

Hi, I would like to file a formal complaint before I file a police report regarding two of your bouncers. Both were working on the 5th of this month before midnight. The incident occurred on the 6th, past midnight, between approximately 2:30 AM and 4:00 AM. The most aggressive bouncer was a plum-sized Malay man with a mullet. If you check the CCTV from the smoking area to the taxi pickup point, he accused my female friend and me of taking a video of a gang fight. We showed him our phones, including Instagram stories and our phone gallery, to demonstrate that no such video was taken. He was extremely aggressive with my female friend and me, even though we complied and showed him our phones as proof that no such video was taken, and stated we were leaving the premises, which we then did. He then kept shouting at my female friend and me, also threatening her, stating he would "smash her face." He also tried to incite the individuals involved in the fight to attack us. After we left and were at the pickup point at Clarke Quay, he brought some other bouncers from your establishment (one was a short Malay man, shorter than him, with short hair) to confront my female friend and me. One of them then smacked the back of my head while he continued threatening us. One of the security personnel at Clarke Quay had to stop them. This occurred between approximately 2:30 AM and 4:00 AM. If no action is taken by the establishment regarding the employment status of these bouncers within 5 business days, my female friend and I will be filing a police report. I believe a bouncer's job is to de-escalate, not escalate, a situation, especially as we were complying with him, showing our phones as proof that no video was taken, and actively walking away from the club. I have never in my life experienced a bouncer trying to incite random individuals at a club to attack me just because he accused my female friend and me of something we did not do. It's one thing if he and the other bouncer threatened my safety; however, it is another matter entirely to threaten physical harm to my female friend. I urge you to review CCTV footage from the smoking area and Clarke Quay taxi pickup point during the hours of approximately 2:30 AM to 4:00 AM. If you would like to contact me regarding this situation, please let me know so I can address any clarifications. The main reason I am writing this complaint is the manner in which they threatened my female friend, which is completely unacceptable. If no action is taken by the establishment within 5 business days, I must reiterate: I will file a police report and welcome the review of the CCTV footage. Thank you.

Today, I flew from Vietnam to this venue to listen to music, waiting from 10 PM to 4 AM. Okay, no problem. But I have something to say about the attitude of your female security guard towards customers. She yelled at me and other foreign guests like us many times. We worked very hard to come here to listen to music and wanted to experience good and fun entertainment, but her attitude was unacceptable. We came here from far away, which was very difficult, all because of our love for DJ music. I hope that you will change the way you treat guests, ensuring your staff are polite and have a civilized attitude.

Zouk advertises events from 10 PM to 4 AM, but the main DJ didn't start playing until 1 AM. The staff were very rude, shouting at foreigners like us. Upon entering, I was unaware that electronic cigarette smoking is prohibited inside the bar. There was no sign or reminder upon entry. The security guard outside checked my bag and knew I had it, but gave no warning. After I entered, I used it once, and a staff member immediately snatched it from my hand. I think they just kept it to prevent me from smoking inside again. Later, when I was leaving, I asked if I could have it back, but the staff said they had thrown it away. They could have simply reminded me the first time instead of throwing away a customer's property. Other establishments, even 5-star restaurants, typically just remind customers rather than disposing of their belongings. Throughout the night, staff were seen chasing away and shouting at customers. My first experience at the bar was terrible. If it were just the confiscation and disposal of the e-cigarette, I wouldn't complain, as that might be bar policy. However, I must rate the bar's attitude and service, which felt discriminatory towards ticket-holding customers. Terrible!

I partied there twice and had a really good time with crazy people both times. Check out the programme on their website and book tickets online in advance so you can go straight into the club, avoid queuing, and get an extra free drink. They offer Techno as well as HipHop/RnB nights with really excellent DJs, and on Saturdays there's even a second stage!

I visited Zouk on March 28, 29, and April 6, 2024, experiencing three distinct evenings on its vibrant dance floor, featuring varying DJs and themed music. The energetic beats resonated deeply with me, especially when compared to the ambiance at the nearby Yang club. My wife and I found immense joy in the diverse musical offerings across the three days. When recounting our Zouk experience to friends, some remarked that the venue is typically frequented by a younger crowd, suggesting we may be out of place. In response, I emphasized that age is merely a number and shouldn't hinder our enjoyment. I shared with them the feeling of rejuvenation I experience upon stepping into Zouk, where I feel as if I'm 21 again, dancing without inhibition. Despite this temporary transformation, once I leave the club, I return to my true self. Life is fleeting, and it's essential to savor every moment of enjoyment without worrying about societal perceptions.

Good job to the cleaner for keeping the toilet clean! The music was a bit boring and chill on a Wednesday night. It’s great that the bartender was friendly and introduced us to their drinks menu. The cocktails were awesome. Highly recommend their lychee martini.

We had an awesome and amazing experience at Zouk. We hosted a private event there, and everything was superb. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the venue's ambiance was vibrant and inviting. A special shout-out to William Koh for his exceptional coordination and attention to detail. From initial planning to the end of the event, William went above and beyond to help us ensure everything ran smoothly. Not to mention, he also shared his experience on what could go wrong, anticipated our needs, and handled every aspect with grace and efficiency.
